You are welcome to use our two sea kayaks. Each one can easily take two adults, with room for a smaller child in the middle.

 

We also have snorkels for viewing the amazing tropical cichlid fish.

Using “Hugo” the boat** - 

 

• take a day trip to Longwe point, about a kilometre down the coast, to see a pod of hippos;

• Go out spotting fish eagles or go rock jumping;

 

• At night, take a trip out to see the fishermen in action;

 

• Take a day trip to Likoma Island.

There's plenty to do if you fancy a change from relaxing on the deck.

 

We have two large kayaks which you are welcome to use. Each kayak will easily cope with 2 adults with space for a child in the middle. Life vests are available.

We have our own boat with small outboard engine, and which can be used for a number of adventures:

​

• Fishing

• Snorkelling

• Day trip/picnic on Dambo beach (the large one visible to the north)

• Trip to Msuli point (the promontory visible to the south) where if the water levels are ok it is possible to travel up the river and maybe catch sight of a local hippo pod

• Rock jumping

• Bird watching

 

Davie can guide you on a day hike taking in Bungulou and Mukwazi, nearby mountains.

With an early start its possible to get to Vwaza nature reserve for a day trip, a small and lovely park with lots of animals including elephant and buffalo. Davie is happy to guide.
